Simple MySQL Commands

mysql -u username -p
mysql> CREATE DATABASE dbname;
mysql> DROP DATABASE dbname;
mysql> SELECT user FROM mysql.user GROUP BY user;
mysql> DELETE FROM mysql.user WHERE user = ‘username’; #DELETE USER

mysql> SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES LIKE ‘local_infile’;
mysql> SET GLOBAL local_infile = ‘ON’;
mysql> SET GLOBAL local_infile = 1;
mysql> SET GLOBAL local_infile = true;
mysql> SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES LIKE ‘local_infile’;
mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
